5. Tag Ab nach Phuket ... ich freu mich schon aufs Rock City. Dieses Jahr bin ich mit meinem Sohn unterwegs, während die MekhongFrau mit ihrer Mutter und ihrer Schwester Urlaub macht! 6. Tag Beim Hotel haben wir leider in die Scheisse gegriffelt. Der Pool ist so dreckig das man den Grund nicht sieht. Unfortunately, we really picked the wrong hotel. The pool is so dirty you can’t even see the bottom. น่าเสียดายที่เราเลือกโรงแรมผิดจริง ๆ เลยครับ/ค่ะ สระว่ายน้ำสกปรกมากจนมองไม่เห็นก้นสระเลย Wenns nicht noch teuer wäre, wärs mir ja egal. Die lassen aber beruhigt die Pumpe laufen anstatt halt mal ordentlich zu chloren. If it wasn’t so expensive, I honestly wouldn’t mind that much. But instead of properly cleaning and adding chlorine, they just keep the pump running like everything’s fine. ถ้าไม่แพงขนาดนี้ก็คงไม่ซีเรียสเท่าไหร่ครับ/ค่ะ แต่แทนที่จะใส่คลอรีนทำความสะอาดดี ๆ เขากลับปล่อยให้ปั๊มทำงานไปเรื่อย ๆ เหมือนไม่มีอะไรเกิดขึ้น Wenigstens wars Abends erfreulicher ;) At least the evening was more enjoyable ;) อย่างน้อยตอนเย็นก็น่าสนุกขึ้น ;) Wieder Rock City ... mit deutschem Bon Scott! 7. Tag Heut Abend buche ich ne Tour. Der dritte Tag in Phuket und die gesehene Gesammttageslichtausbeute liegt bei kleiner 1 Stunde. Die gute Nachricht ist ... auch in Phuket gibts ein paar gute GoGo Bars. Tonight I’m booking a tour. It’s the third day in Phuket, and so far we’ve barely had an hour of daylight. 8. Tag Heut ist mal Kino angesagt und auf dem Weg dorthin gabs auch jede Menge Tageslicht. Tonight it’s movie time, and on the way there we actually got plenty of daylight. วันนี้ถึงเวลาจะไปดูหนังแล้ว ระหว่างทางก็ยังมีแสงแดดให้เห็นเยอะเลย Eine normale Bar zu finden an der man auch Spass hat ist gar nicht so einfach. Oft wird man ignoriert und darf traurig in der Ecke sitzen. Na hier waren wir jedenfalls willkommen. Finding a normal bar where you can actually have fun isn’t that easy. Often you get ignored and end up sitting sadly in the corner. But here, we definitely felt welcome. หาบาร์ธรรมดาที่สนุกได้จริง ๆ ไม่ง่ายเลย บางทีคนก็ไม่สนใจ เราก็ต้องนั่งเหงาอยู่มุมหนึ่ง แต่ที่นี่เรารู้สึกได้รับการต้อนรับจริง ๆ Rechts ist Karl. Er singt Bon Scott von AC/DC und das echt gut! Ist natürlich ein freundlicher Deutscher. Auf  meine Frage wo er denn genau herkommt antwortete er mit einem  ausschweifenden: ”Nord”� ! On the right is Karl. He sings Bon Scott from AC/DC… and really well! Of course, he’s a friendly German. When I asked where exactly he’s from, he replied with an elaborate: ‘North’! ทางขวาคือ Karl เขาร้องเพลงของ Bon Scott จาก AC/DC… และร้องได้ดีมาก! แน่นอนว่าเขาเป็นคนเยอรมันที่เป็นมิตร พอฉันถามว่าเขามาจากไหน เขาตอบแบบยืดยาวว่า 'เหนือ'!

9. Tag Im Moment gibts Übertragungsprobleme und ich weiß net ob das nochmal klappt. Ich machs halt weiter für später ;) Übrigens 9.2. = 8.2. ;) Fast ... Rock City macht pünktlich um 12 zu weil  morgen Feiertag ist. Also nehm ich alle die ich kenne mit zum  Abendschmaus. Dort taucht dann auch eine zuerst etwas griesgrämig  dreinschauende Dame auf und gesellt sich zu uns. Es stellt sich heraus  das sie die Chefin vom Rock City ist. Sie fragt mich irgendwann aus was  ich von den Bands halte und ich kann ihr natürlich sagen was mir bei  jedem am besten gefällt. Weniger AC/DC ... mehr was anderes ;-) Irgendwann hat man den AC/DC overload! At the moment there are some streaming issues, and I’m not sure if it’ll work again. I’ll just keep going for later ;)  By the way, 9.2. = 8.2. ;) Almost… Rock City closes promptly at 12 because tomorrow’s a holiday. So I take everyone I know along for dinner. There, a lady who at first looks a bit grumpy joins us. It turns out she’s the boss of Rock City. At some point, she asks me what I think about the bands, and of course I can tell her what I liked best about each. Less AC/DC… more of the others ;-) Eventually, you get AC/DC overload! ตอนนี้มีปัญหาเรื่องการถ่ายทอดสด และไม่แน่ใจว่ามันจะทำงานอีกไหม แต่ฉันก็ทำต่อไปเผื่อไว้สำหรับหลัง ;) อ้อ 9.2. = 8.2. ;) เกือบแล้ว… Rock City ปิดตรงเวลาเที่ยงคืนเพราะพรุ่งนี้เป็นวันหยุด เลยพาเพื่อน ๆ ทุกคนไปกินข้าวเย็นด้วย ที่นั่นก็มีผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งที่ตอนแรกดูงง ๆ นิดหน่อยเข้ามาร่วมกับเรา ปรากฏว่าเธอคือเจ้าของ Rock City สักพักเธอก็มาถามความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับวงดนตรีต่าง ๆ และฉันก็สามารถบอกได้ว่าชอบวงไหนมากที่สุด น้อยหน่อยกับ AC/DC… เพิ่มความหลากหลาย ;-) สุดท้ายก็เริ่มรู้สึกว่า AC/DC เยอะไปแล้ว!

10. Tag Heute gehts um 6 Uhr raus! Tour zu den Similan Islands. Up at 6 today! Off on a tour to the Similan Islands. วันนี้ต้องตื่นตั้งแต่ 6 โมงเช้า! ไปทัวร์เกาะสิมิลัน Sozusagen das Wahrzeichen der Similan Islands Basically the landmark of the Similan Islands. เรียกได้ว่าเป็นแลนด์มาร์กของเกาะสิมิลันเลย     Geiles Wasser Awesome water! น้ำเจ๋งมาก!   Sehr viele Chinesen hier There are a lot of Chinese tourists here. ที่นี่มีนักท่องเที่ยวชาวจีนเยอะมาก Mr Ake und der MekhongMan ... Bassman United ;) Mr. Ake and the MekhongMan… Bassman United ;) คุณ Ake กับ MekhongMan… Bassman United ;)

11. Tag Abflug nach Bangkok. Erst scheint alles gut zu laufen. Sachen sind gepackt, Hotel bestätigt und der Taxifahrer ist pünktlich! Dann gehts los! Bangkok Airways hat Probleme mit dem  Flieger, wir werden umgebucht auf Thai Airways. Alles verbunden mit ewigem rumstehen und warten! Irgendwann fliegen wir und sitzen natürlich nicht nebeneinander. MekhongJr darf am Notausgang bequem sitzen während ich neben zwei Chinesinnen sitzen darf von denen eine 4 Kotztüten voll macht.  Gerädert landen wir in Bangkok und ich nehme fluchend ein Sau teueres Offizielles Taxi zu meinem Hotel. Ab hier wirds besser. Wir steigen in  einen Nagelneuen BMW 7er mit allem Schnick und Schnack. Entspannt kommen wir im Hotel an, werden standesgemäß am wartenden Fußvolk  vorbeigeführt und bekommen unser Zimmer im 70. Stock. Beim hochfahren  knallen mir die Ohren zu ;). Ein echt cooler Ausblick aus dem Zimmer! Flying to Bangkok. At first, everything seems to be going smoothly: bags packed, hotel confirmed, and the taxi driver is on time! Then it starts… Bangkok Airways has issues with the plane, so we’re rebooked on Thai Airways. Lots of standing around and waiting! Eventually we take off, and of course we’re not sitting together. MekhongJr gets a comfy seat by the emergency exit while I end up next to two Chinese ladies, one of whom fills four barf bags. Exhausted, we land in Bangkok, and I grumble my way into a ridiculously expensive official taxi to the hotel. From here on, it gets better. We get into a brand-new BMW 7 Series with all the bells and whistles. Relaxed, we arrive at the hotel, are led past the waiting staff like VIPs, and get a room on the 70th floor. My ears pop on the way up ;). And the view from the room? Absolutely amazing! ออกเดินทางไปกรุงเทพฯ ตอนแรกทุกอย่างดูราบรื่น กระเป๋าจัดเรียบร้อย โรงแรมยืนยันแล้ว และคนขับแท็กซี่มาตรงเวลา! แต่แล้วก็เกิดเรื่อง… Bangkok Airways มีปัญหากับเครื่องบิน เราถูกเปลี่ยนไป Thai Airways ต้องยืนรอและรอกันนานมาก! สุดท้ายเครื่องบินขึ้น และแน่นอนว่าเราไม่ได้อยู่ด้วยกัน MekhongJr ได้นั่งตรงทางออกฉุกเฉินสบาย ๆ ส่วนฉันได้นั่งข้างผู้หญิงจีนสองคน หนึ่งในนั้นใช้ถุงอาเจียนไปสี่ใบ เพลียสุด ๆ เมื่อเครื่องลงกรุงเทพฯ ฉันต้องขึ้นแท็กซี่อย่างเป็นทางการที่แพงมากไปโรงแรม จากตรงนี้ดีขึ้นแล้ว เราเข้าไปใน BMW 7 Series ใหม่เอี่ยม มีทุกอย่างครบครัน มาถึงโรงแรมอย่างผ่อนคลาย เดินผ่านพนักงานรอต้อนรับแบบ VIP และได้ห้องบนชั้น 70 ตอนขึ้นไปหูผมตื้อเลย ;). วิวจากห้อง? เจ๋งสุด ๆ! Der Ausblick ist mal geil! The view is amazing! วิวสุดเจ๋งเลย! Da gehts in den Umkleidebereich des Zimmers That’s the way to the room’s changing area. ทางไปยังห้องเปลี่ยนเสื้อผ้าของห้อง   Badewanne mit Whirlpool Bathtub with a whirlpool! อ่างอาบน้ำพร้อมจากุซซี่! Man beachte, ein eigener Router auf dem Zimmer, und das Pillow Menü! Was das ist!?! Man kann sich aus 4 verschiedenen Kopfkissen das passende aussuchen. Dekadent ... wie ichs mag ;) Check this out: a personal router in the room, and the pillow menu! What’s that, you ask? You can choose your perfect pillow from four different options. Decadent… just how I like it ;) ลองสังเกตสิ มีเราเตอร์ส่วนตัวในห้อง แล้วก็ยังมีเมนูหมอน! นี่คืออะไรเหรอ!? คุณสามารถเลือกหมอนที่ถูกใจจาก 4 แบบที่ต่างกัน ฟุ่มเฟือย… แบบที่ฉันชอบ ;)

12. Tag Da wir heute fit wie die Turnschuhe sind gehts ins  größte Aquarium Thailands. Zuerst müssen wir uns natürlich die  Aussichtsplattform des Hotels im 83. Stock ansehen. Das Drama beginnt  dann aber mit den Taxis. Hat man endlich eins, fährt man 1 Minute und  steht dann im Stau. Naja, Abends gehts zum Nana Plaza! Einmal komplett durch trinken und dabei die Bars auslassen in denen das Verhältnis Ladys zu Ladyboys zugunsten der letzteren steht. Außerdem die auslassen in denen die Tänzerinnen mein Alter haben. Da bleibt kaum genug um betrunken zu werden! Ich habs trotzdem irgendwie geschafft ;) Feeling as fit as sneakers today, we head to the biggest aquarium in Thailand. First, of course, we check out the hotel’s observation deck on the 83rd floor. The drama starts with the taxis though… finally get one, drive a minute, and then stuck in traffic. Anyway, in the evening it’s off to Nana Plaza! We make a full round, skipping bars where the ratio of ladies to ladyboys favors the latter, and also avoiding the ones where the dancers are my age. Hardly enough left to get drunk! Somehow, I still managed ;) วันนี้ฟิตสุด ๆ เหมือนรองเท้าผ้าใบ เราไปเยี่ยมชมพิพิธภัณฑ์สัตว์น้ำที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในไทย ก่อนอื่นก็ต้องขึ้นไปชมจุดชมวิวของโรงแรมบนชั้น 83 แต่เรื่องวุ่นวายเริ่มต้นกับแท็กซี่ ในที่สุดก็ได้คันหนึ่ง ขับได้แค่หนึ่งนาที แล้วก็เจอรถติด แต่เย็นนี้ไป Nana Plaza! เราเดินรอบทั้งหมด ข้ามบาร์ที่อัตราส่วนผู้หญิงกับเลดี้บอยเอียงไปทางหลัง และข้ามบาร์ที่นักเต้นมีอายุเท่ากับฉัน แทบไม่เหลือให้เมา! แต่ก็ยังจัดการได้ ;) Die Aussichtsplattform dreht sich einmal um die Hotelachse, was so 5 Minuten dauert. Sehr seltsames Gefühl. The observation deck rotates once around the hotel axis, which takes about 5 minutes. A very strange feeling. จุดชมวิวหมุนรอบแกนของโรงแรมหนึ่งรอบ ใช้เวลาประมาณ 5 นาที รู้สึกแปลก ๆ มาก Da hinten ist so wie es aussieht das Todesstern Gebäude (Maha nakorn) Back there is what looks like the Death Star building (Maha Nakorn). ข้างหลังนั่นดูเหมือนอาคาร Death Star (Maha Nakorn)   Wo der Finger ist müsste unser Zimmer sein ;) Our room should be where my finger is pointing ;) ห้องของเราน่าจะอยู่ตรงที่ฉันชี้นิ้ว ;) Golfübungsplatz im 18. ;) Golf practice range on the 18th floor ;) สนามฝึกกอล์ฟบนชั้น 18 ;) Der Octopus. Faules Vieh, sieht aber geil aus wenn er mal schwimmt. The octopus. Lazy creature, but looks amazing when it actually swims. ปลาหมึกยักษ์ ขี้เกียจ แต่ดูเจ๋งมากเวลาเคลื่อนไหว Fettes Aquarium Awesome aquarium! พิพิธภัณฑ์สัตว์น้ำสุดเจ๋ง!     Alter Stachelrochen ohne Schwanz. Der ist 12 Jahre alt und irgendwann fault dem halt der Schwanz ab. Hoffentlich läufts bei mir besser ;-) Old stingray without a tail. He’s 12 years old, and eventually his tail just rotted off. Hopefully my luck will be better ;-) ปลากระเบนแก่ไม่มีหาง อายุ 12 ปี หางมันก็เน่าไปตามเวลา หวังว่าฉันคงโชคดีกว่าหน่อย ;-)   Der sieht richtig schön gemein aus! 13. Tag Heute gehts in den sozusagen größten Media Markt Thailands. Was es hier an Elektronik nicht gibt, das gibts auch nicht. Today we’re heading to basically the biggest Media Markt in Thailand. If it’s not here, it probably doesn’t exist anywhere. วันนี้ไปที่ Media Markt ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในไทย ถ้าไม่มาที่นี่ก็ไม่น่าจะมีที่ไหนแล้ว Übrigens gibts im Hotel nen Mini Mart im 18.
